Nevada Ballet Theatre celebrates with three dynamic pieces of Classic Americana. Beginning with George Balanchine's Serenade, his first ballet choreographed in America and one of his most visually arresting and emotionally stirring. Set to Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, Balanchine's choreography will leave you breathless. Following will be Paul Taylor's Company B. This jiving journey back to World War II embraces all the merriment and sacrifice intertwined in everyday American life. Taylor's contemporary choreography is coupled with iconic recordings from The Andrews Sisters, making Company B a dancing-in-your-seat delight. Closing the program with a high energy splash is Balanchine's rollicking Western Symphony, a carefree tale of a dusty Wild West town filled with rambunctious cowboys and free spirited dance hall girls ready for a night of fun. An afternoon blend of classical ballet and American folk dance!

After moving to Las Vegas in 1966 at the age of 15, and many years of performing at the lounge of the Fremont Hotel & Casino, Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton, purchased the first five acres of what is now Casa de Shenandoah. It was raw land, with no well or electricity. The first house was built by 1968, along with four stalls for a horse barn. Living in that home with his parents and older brother, Wayne gradually acquired additional acres as they became available, resulting in the 52 acres the estate consists of today. The full VIP Diamond Tour offers a rare look at the Aramus Arabian Swim in the custom built pool (weather permitting), horse arena show, access to the first and second floor of the Mansion, Entertainment Museum, Private Jet, Car Collection, Mr. Las Vegas Memorabilia, Exotic Animal Sanctuary, Wayne's vast art collection, and much more!
