911- All fire and other emergencies must be directed to this number.

383 2888- This telephone number is provided for the purpose of administrative questions about other services provided by the City of Las Vegas fire services department.

Fire protection is provided by the City of Las Vegas fire department. The service is funded by property and other taxes assessed to residents and/or property owners of Las Vegas.

The City of Las Vegas also provides emergency medical, ambulance and paramedic services. IN EMERGENCIES CALL 911. FOR NON EMERGENCIES CALL 383-2888.

Both engine companies and paramedic ambulances are dispatched from the same fire station when possible.

There are two fire stations in close proximity to Sun City, one is on Cheyenne Blvd. Approximately one mile east of Sun City and the second is located on Banberry Cross Dr. approximately 1.5 miles south of Sun City.

As a general rule fire department paramedics will be dispatched in connection with structure fires and/or automobile accidents which require fire control personnel.

Except as indicated above the majority of calls to 911 for emergency medical assistance will be directed to American Medical Response, a for profit ambulance/paramedic service.
